About Me: I obtained MSc and PhD degrees in Civil Engineering (major in Hydraulic Structures), from Shahid Chamran University and Shahrood University of Technology, respectively. I was a visiting scholar in Eindhoven University of Technology (2009-2010), visiting faculty member in Tokyo Institute of Technology (2014), and visiting faculty member in the University of Alberta (2019-2020).
Research Interests: wave propagation, fluid-structure interaction, column separation, defect detection, non-Newtonian fluids, visco-elasticity and buckling in pipelines and pipe networks as well as their mathematical modelling and statistical analysis

About Me: I received my Bachelor degree of Engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University and then Master Degree from Zhejiang University China, and my Ph.D. from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). Now I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Hydraulics Group at PolyU, focusing on research in transient flow modeling and leakage detection in water pipe distribution systems.

About Me: I received my both Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in Engineering from China University of Petroleum (Beijing). Now I am a Ph.D. student in the Hydraulics Group at PolyU, studying transient flow modelling and pipeline condition assessment in urban water supply systems (UWSS).

About Me: I am from Mainland China. After completing my study of Master's Degree in Science from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) in 2019, I continued my research as a Research Assistant in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at PolyU. Now I am a Ph.D. student in the Hydraulics Group at PolyU. My research focuses on transient flow and pipe defects detection in urban water supply systems.

About Me: I am from Pakistan. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Agriculture (UAF), Pakistan, and Master’s degree in Water Engineering and Management from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand. I got the opportunity to work on research and consultancy projects in Denmark and Thailand in the past 3 years. Currently, I am a Ph.D. student in the Hydraulics Group at PolyU, working on optimization and control of the urban drainage system.

About Me: I received my Bachelor’s degree in Hydraulic Engineering from mainland China and my Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). After graduating from PolyU in 2020, I stayed in Dr. Duan's Hydraulic group as a research assistant. Now I'm a Ph.D. student in the Hydraulic Group at PolyU. My research focuses on coastal modeling including hydrodynamics and water quality simulation.
